Lots in the cart but no money!

I get lots of orders which are added to the cart but then they just get abandoned! I've got free UK postage and have tried to make ordering as simple as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My site is www.kalsreturnjewellery.co.uk  and I would be very very grateful if anyone could help or if you have time, take a look and give me some honest feedback.

    Many thanks and best wishes,

    Kal

    Hi there Kal

It is a common problem, We have carts filled everyday and then abandoned. We offer most payment methods possible and our postage rates are very competative but still it happens. It puzzles me how people have the time to look and go to all the trouble of filling carts up. So dont take it to heart there's nowt as weird as folk ;0)

    Good Luck

Ditto.  An expiry date for cart contents would help resolve the problem.  Could be user-defined, eg 30 / 60 / 90 days etc.  This would have a secondary benefit in allowing more freedom to delete or amend products without the constraint of that product appearing in an abandoned cart.  Having said all that, a customer just checked out their order last week, was created in 2006!  MARK  www.a2stainless.co.uk
