I have several inactive shopping carts on the site where people have come in, selected a product or two and then left before buying anything.

The system keeps them because they are not emply carts, and the editing screen gives no option to either empty them or delete them - any ideas?

Just ignore them.  The only time we look at Carts is when payment gets stuck in the system and we need the order details to process payment manually.  It would be nice if they had a self-expiry date, and just deleted themselves after say 30 days.  NB notice if you change a product on the site, it changes in the cart too, even checked-out ones.   BR  MARK

Empty carts are now never stored / shown, we will be adding an option in the next update that will automatically remove carts older than 15 days.
